We are a Christ-centered homeschool co-op where families come together to teach, support, and grow.
Through a shared commitment to a Biblical worldview, we foster a love for learning, build lasting friendships, and encourage our children to grow in their faith in Christ. By sharing the teaching load, we expand opportunities for our students beyond what any one family could provide—while continuing to support, not replace, the education that happens at home.
Coming Together To Increase Opportunities
We are a community of homeschooling families who come together to share the work of teaching and expand what’s possible for our children. By combining our time, skills, and interests, we’re able to offer a wider range of opportunities—from Lego STEM, drama, and video production to art, music, and writing—alongside the core learning happening at home.
Our co-op is designed to support, not replace, the role of the parent. We build on the foundation each family is laying, giving students the chance to learn from other adults, collaborate with peers, and explore new areas that would be difficult to provide on our own.
Together, we’re creating an environment where learning is enriched, friendships are formed, and children grow in both knowledge and confidence.

These people have never been here
Cedar Grove taught me that our routines at home were really much more put-together than I originally though. After watching all those other mothers–I realized I was doing pretty well in life.

How We Work
Families and volunteers meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays to provide classroom instruction. Students can participate in a wide range of programs, including preschool, science, physical education, art, history, Latin, music, drama, creative writing, government, worldview, and literature-based history. Families may choose a full course load to create a complete curriculum or select individual classes as supplemental, extracurricular options.
Cedar Grove operates as a cooperative, meaning families take an active role in supporting the program. Parents teach or assist in classes, helping distribute the workload so the co-op can function well and offer a strong variety of classes. Because of this shared effort, fees remain low. A family’s level of involvement is connected to how many classes their children participate in, and the expectations are structured to be realistic and manageable for busy families.
As a private Christian co-op, participation requires several steps. All members must complete an application, agree to and sign a statement of faith and the co-op handbook, remain under the authority of a Protestant church, pass a background check, sign a liability waiver, and receive board approval prior to joining.
